Welcome to ZAGBA

PDFPrintE-mail

On behalf of the ZAGBA board I would like to welcome you to our organization. ZAGBA is a non-profit volunteer group dedicated to the development of young girls. The organization strives to teach team work, respect and strong self esteem. The organization programs are supported by volunteer coaches and program directors.

ZAGBA programs include girls basketball fundamental leagues for girls in 1st-6th grade and travel leagues for 5th-8th grade. Since the organization supports a diverse level of knowledge starting from basketball basics to 8th grade players on the edge of the Zimmerman Thunder High School Program, we need parent involvement. Whether knowledgeable about basketball or not we have many opportunities to assist the program including coaches clinics.

I have three young daughters in the ZAGBA program and they participate for a variety of reasons. For some it may be an elementary school sport with friends and for others it can be a stepping stone for future basketball goals. At any level, the focus on respect and self esteem will carry beyond basketball.

If you have a daughter thinking of participating in ZAGBA programs please contact me with any questions. Thank you for your interest and participation.

Kind Regards,

Brad Bozich
~ZAGBA Board President
